TiltSkyPrivacy Policy

TiltSky does not collect your data. We have no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and we run no servers that receive anything from the app.
What the app uses on your device
Location. Your approximate location places the stars overhead. The last known position is saved on your device so the sky can be drawn on the next launch. It is never sent to us.
Motion. Your phone's orientation tells TiltSky where you're pointing. It is read live and never stored.
Saved birth skies. Names, dates, times and places you enter in Birth Sky are stored only on your device.
Birthplace search
When you type a birthplace, the text you type is sent to your phone's built-in place search (Apple Maps on iPhone and iPad, the system geocoder on Android) to look up its coordinates and time zone. Your current location is not included. That search is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, and we never see it.
Deleting your data
Everything TiltSky stores lives on your device. Swipe to delete a saved birth sky, or delete the app to remove all of it.
Children
TiltSky collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
